Welcome

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. This is my first experience blogging, so bear with me. I guess I can give you a little background on myself to start off. I am in my final semesters here @ ASU. I will graduate in December with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Nonprofit Administration and Sociology.....if all goes well! As well as being a student I work full time for a faith based nonprofit. Part of my current position requires me to coordinate volunteer for several different ongoing areas and some special events. I am so excited to learn more about volunteer management and to be able to apply that knowledge to my current work environment. Well, that's it for now. I look forward to getting to know all of you.     Congratulations on almost being done with undergraduate coursework! Do you plan on going on to graduate school? It is really neat that you are going to be able to take what we learn in this class and literally apply it directly to your job! This class will definitley benefit you! Good luck!

    I can relate to your first time blogging because it is my first time as well. It can be a little confusing! It is quite admirable that you are planning to work for a non profit faith based job. Especially in this economy when it is hard to find a good job right out of college. Good luck to you!

    I do plan on going for my masters in either counseling or sociology, but I'm going to take a semester off after I graduate, I think i've earned it ;) And thanks for the good luck wishes, I think I'm going to need them,haha. Actually, I currently work at a faith based non profit and we are still going strong!
